Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Science & Medicine professional to join our innovative team. This role will focus on applying sports science principles to enhance the performance, well-being, and injury prevention strategies for our automotive R&D and testing personnel who undertake physically demanding roles. You will collaborate with various departments to integrate evidence-based practices into our operational framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sports science and medicine programs tailored for automotive engineers and test drivers.
- Conduct assessments of physical fitness, biomechanics, and physiological responses relevant to automotive operational demands.
- Provide guidance on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement strategies.
- Collaborate with HR, R&D, and Occupational Health departments to ensure employee well-being and safety.
- Research and stay updated on the latest advancements in sports science, sports medicine, and their application in non-traditional settings.
- Educate employees on health, wellness, and performance optimization techniques.
- Contribute to the development of ergonomic solutions and testing protocols.
