Sports Scout

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and observant Sports Scout to identify and evaluate emerging talent within various sports disciplines across India. This role involves extensive travel, networking with sports organizations, and assessing player potential against established criteria. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for athletic ability and a deep understanding of sports dynamics. This position is for a foreign MNC looking to invest in and promote sports talent within the Indian market, potentially leveraging this talent for brand ambassadorships or promotional activities related to our furniture and furnishing business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel extensively across India to attend sporting events, tournaments, and training sessions.
- Identify promising athletes and teams in various sports, including but not limited to cricket, football, kabaddi, hockey, badminton, and athletics.
- Evaluate player performance, technical skills, physical attributes, and mental fortitude.
- Maintain detailed records and reports on scouted talent, including player profiles, strengths, weaknesses, and potential.
- Build and maintain relationships with coaches, sports academies, clubs, and federations.
- Conduct background checks and verify player credentials.
- Provide recommendations for talent acquisition and development programs.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the Indian sports landscape.
- Collaborate with the marketing and brand management teams to align scouting efforts with company objectives and promotional campaigns.
