Role Summary:
HDFC Bank is seeking a dynamic and passionate Sports Scout to identify and nurture emerging sporting talent within India. This role involves leveraging an understanding of various sports and talent identification methodologies to contribute to our corporate social responsibility initiatives and employee engagement programs focused on sports development. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for potential and a strong network within the sports community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify promising athletes and teams across various sports disciplines in India.
- Attend local, regional, and national sporting events to scout for talent.
- Evaluate player skills, potential, and character through observation and analysis.
- Maintain a database of identified talent and track their progress.
- Build and maintain relationships with coaches, sports academies, and federations.
- Provide recommendations for talent development programs and sponsorships.
- Collaborate with internal teams on sports-related CSR and employee engagement initiatives.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in the Indian sports landscape.
