Job Description
Role Summary: The Sports Scout will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential sports talent that aligns with the company's employee engagement and wellness initiatives. This role involves scouting for individuals or teams that can participate in corporate sports events, promote healthy lifestyles, and contribute to a positive brand image within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and scout potential sports talent across various disciplines relevant to corporate engagement (e.g., cricket, badminton, football, athletics).
Evaluate the skills, performance, and potential of athletes and teams through observation and data analysis.
Build and maintain relationships with sports academies, clubs, coaches, and talent agencies in India.
Organize and conduct talent identification camps and trials.
Assess the suitability of talent for participation in company-sponsored sports events and programs.
Provide recommendations for talent acquisition and development to the HR and Employee Engagement teams.
Stay updated on emerging sports trends and talent within the Indian sports ecosystem.
Manage scouting budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
