Sports Umpire / Referee

Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Sports Umpire/Referee to ensure fair play and adherence to rules during live sports broadcasts and events managed by Viacom18. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sports regulations and the ability to make impartial decisions under pressure. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and excitement of our sports programming.

Key Responsibilities:
- Officiate various sports matches and events according to established rules and regulations.
- Make fair and impartial decisions during gameplay, ensuring a level playing field for all participants.
- Clearly communicate calls and decisions to players, coaches, and officials.
- Monitor game progress and enforce time limits and other procedural rules.
- Collaborate with broadcast production teams to ensure smooth integration of officiating into live telecasts.
- Provide feedback on game management and rule interpretations to sports event organizers.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and readiness to perform duties effectively.
- Stay updated on any rule changes or amendments in the relevant sports.
- Handle disputes and protests professionally and in accordance with established protocols.
