Sr. Consultant

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Consultant to provide strategic guidance and operational support to our import and export operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of international trade regulations, supply chain management, and market dynamics to optimize our global trade activities. This role is crucial in enhancing our efficiency, compliance, and profitability in the import and export sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for import and export operations to align with company objectives.
- Analyze global market trends, trade policies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade laws, customs regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain for imported and exported goods, including logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, buyers, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial analysis for new import/export ventures.
- Provide expert advice on trade finance, currency exchange, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee the preparation and review of import/export documentation, including bills of lading, letters of credit, and customs declarations.
- Train and mentor junior team members on best practices in international trade.
