Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sr. Consultant with a strong understanding of urban transport policy and law to join our growing team in Chandigarh. This role is ideal for an individual with 3-5 years of experience and an LLM degree, looking to make a significant impact on the development of sustainable urban mobility solutions in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth legal and policy research on urban transport regulations, legislation, and best practices in India and globally.
- Analyze the legal and regulatory framework for various urban transport modes, including public transit, non-motorized transport, and emerging mobility services.
- Provide legal and strategic advice to clients (government agencies, private operators, and international organizations) on transport policy formulation, project development, and contract negotiation.
- Draft and review legal documents, policy papers, and reports related to urban transport projects and initiatives.
- Support project management activities, including stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, and implementation planning.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions for complex urban transport challenges.
