Stage Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stage Manager to oversee the smooth execution of events and productions within our publishing division. The Stage Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a production from rehearsal through to performance, ensuring all technical and creative elements are synchronized and delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, including rehearsals, technical setups, and performances.
- Coordinate communication between directors, designers, actors, and technical crew.
- Manage the rehearsal room, calling cues and ensuring the smooth flow of the creative process.
- Oversee the technical aspects of the production, including lighting, sound, set changes, and props.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during rehearsals and performances.
- Manage stage crew and assign tasks effectively.
- Maintain accurate stage management records, including blocking notes, cue sheets, and prop lists.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during rehearsals or performances.
- Manage the budget for stage management related expenses.
- Liaise with venue management and other stakeholders as required.
