Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Statistician to join our team at Bata India Limited. The Statistician will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to provide insights that support business decisions in areas such as sales forecasting, inventory management, product development, and market trend analysis. This role is crucial in driving data-informed strategies within our dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement statistical models for sales forecasting and demand planning.
- Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate product performance and marketing campaigns.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and visualizations of statistical findings for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide statistical support.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all statistical analyses.
- Stay updated with the latest statistical methodologies and software.
