Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the health and performance of various payment processing systems and applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Participate in incident management and post-incident reviews.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the deployment and testing of new system updates and features.
- Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on system operations.

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) was incorporated as an 'Umbrella Organization' for operating retail payments and settlement systems in India. It is promoted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Indian Banks' Association (IBA).
