Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Stores & Material Management professional to oversee the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies within our facility management operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our service delivery by maintaining optimal inventory levels and managing procurement processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain inventory records, ensuring accuracy of stock levels for various facility management supplies and equipment.
- Oversee the receiving, unpacking, and inspection of incoming materials, verifying against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse/store area, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and accessibility of all items.
- Implement and adhere to inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies, pilferage, and wastage.
- Process material requisitions and prepare stock for dispatch to various sites or internal departments.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and identify potential supply chain issues.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Manage the disposal of obsolete or damaged materials according to company policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in the stores area.
- Assist in developing and implementing improved stores and material management processes.
