Role Summary: The Stores & Material Management professional will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the inventory, storage, and movement of materials within the manufacturing facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials, components, and finished goods, thereby supporting production targets and minimizing operational costs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to meet production demands while minimizing holding costs.
- Implement and maintain an effective stores management system, including proper cataloging, labeling, and binning of materials.
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and dispatch of materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement material handling procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Identify and implement process improvements in stores and material management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all material movements and transactions using ERP or other inventory management software.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to material handling and storage.
- Analyze material usage patterns and forecast future requirements.
