We are seeking a diligent and organized Stores & Material Management professional with 3-5 years of experience and an LLM degree to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of stores and materials, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing inventory levels. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and material control, coupled with the analytical skills derived from an LLM background to navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire lifecycle of stores and materials, including procurement, receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, and disposal.

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktaking to ensure data integrity.

Develop and implement effective stores and material management policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to organizational and legal standards.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all material management activities are in line with relevant laws and regulations, particularly those pertaining to security and defense procurement.

Analyze material requirements and forecast future needs to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.

Oversee the safe and secure storage of all materials, including sensitive or regulated items.

Process purchase requisitions and orders, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.

Prepare reports on inventory levels, material usage, and procurement activities for management review.
