Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and organized Stores & Material Management professional with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of inventory, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining accurate records of all materials and supplies used across our various programs. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to improve educational outcomes for children in India.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the stores, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.

Maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate systems and conduct regular stocktakes.

Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss of materials.

Assist in the procurement process by identifying needs, preparing purchase requests, and coordinating with vendors.

Track material usage and generate reports on inventory levels, consumption, and reorder points.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to material management.

Support program teams by ensuring the availability of necessary materials and supplies.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the stores and material management function.
