Role Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Story Editor to join our dynamic content team. The Story Editor will be responsible for shaping narratives, ensuring script quality, and collaborating with writers and producers to develop compelling stories for our various media platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of storytelling principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze scripts for plot, character development, pacing, and thematic consistency.
- Provide constructive feedback and editorial guidance to writers to enhance story quality.
- Collaborate with producers and directors to refine story arcs and ensure alignment with project vision.
- Develop and maintain story bibles and character profiles.
- Conduct research to ensure accuracy and authenticity of storylines.
- Track project progress and manage editorial timelines.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and generate creative ideas for new projects.
