Strategic Sourcing Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement team in India. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for key indirect spend categories within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector, driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and mitigating supply chain risks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sourcing best practices and a proven track record in managing complex procurement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic sourcing plans for assigned indirect spend categories (e.g., IT, Marketing, HR services, Facilities Management).
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential new suppliers and opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Manage key supplier relationships, monitor performance against contracts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify sourcing opportunities and develop business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier risk management framework.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement best practices and tools.
