Job Description
Role Summary: The Strength & Conditioning Coach will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strength, conditioning, and injury prevention programs for flight crew and ground staff to optimize physical performance, reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries, and enhance overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of human physiology, biomechanics, and the specific demands of the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized and group strength and conditioning programs tailored to the needs of flight crew (pilots, cabin crew) and ground staff.
Conduct thorough physical assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and injury risk factors.
Develop and implement injury prevention strategies and rehabilitation protocols in collaboration with medical staff.
Educate staff on proper exercise technique, nutrition, hydration, and recovery strategies.
Monitor athlete progress and adjust training programs accordingly.
Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in sports science, exercise physiology, and aviation human factors.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, training plans, and progress.
Promote a culture of health, fitness, and injury prevention within the organization.
