Role Summary:
Linde India Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and integrity of structural components and systems for our chemical plants and industrial facilities across India. This role requires a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, relevant codes and standards, and experience in the chemical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for new projects and modifications to existing facilities, including foundations, steel structures, pipe racks, and equipment supports.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Indian and international codes, standards (e.g., IS codes, AISC, ASME), and company specifications.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for procurement and construction.
- Conduct structural integrity assessments, fitness-for-service evaluations, and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (process, mechanical, electrical) to ensure integrated and optimized designs.
- Review vendor drawings and technical submittals.
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Participate in safety reviews, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments.
