Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Information Technology to join our dynamic team. The IT SME will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise and strategic guidance on IT solutions that support and enhance our import and export operations. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, data analytics, and cybersecurity within the context of the logistics and supply chain industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice and technical leadership on IT projects related to supply chain management, transportation, and warehousing systems.
Analyze current IT systems and processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, business development) to understand their IT requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors to support business objectives.
Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for IT systems and solutions.
Stay abreast of emerging IT trends and technologies relevant to the import/export and logistics sectors.
