Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Information Technology to join our dynamic team. The IT SME will be instrumental in providing expert guidance, strategic insights, and technical leadership across various IT domains, ensuring alignment with Reliance Retail's business objectives and driving innovation within the consumer, retail, and hospitality sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies relevant to large-scale retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation and technical leadership on IT strategy, architecture, and implementation projects.
- Analyze current IT systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, optimization, and digital transformation.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance business operations, customer experience, and competitive advantage.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT operations, and development teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the retail and hospitality IT landscape.
- Mentor and guide junior IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data privacy regulations, and industry standards.
