Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supervisor / Incharge with 2-3 years of experience and a B.Des degree to join our team in Mumbai. This role will be responsible for overseeing specific operational or project-related tasks within our railway projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and their application in a real-world industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a team or specific project tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.
- Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure project execution aligns with design intent.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with Alstom's standards and client requirements.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of project activities, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance to resolve design and implementation challenges.
- Provide feedback on design feasibility and suggest improvements based on site observations and practical application.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, progress, and any deviations from the plan.
- Support the training and development of junior team members.
