Job Description
Role Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's supply chain operations within India. This includes planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of automotive components and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
- Oversee inventory levels, implement inventory control measures, and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Optimize logistics and transportation networks to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, sales, finance) to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.
- Monitor supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
