Role Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods. This role is crucial for supporting the growth and operational excellence of our steel manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies.
- Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and services, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers.
- Oversee inventory management to minimize holding costs while ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation of goods, both inbound and outbound.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and finance departments to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Implement and utilize supply chain management software and technologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
