Supply Planner

Role Summary: The Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient procurement and delivery of materials and components required for the production of aircraft, helicopters, and other aerospace products. This role is critical in maintaining production schedules and managing inventory levels within HAL's extensive manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute supply plans to meet production demands for various aerospace programs.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock, reduce carrying costs, and prevent stockouts.
• Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into actionable supply plans.
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality control departments to ensure alignment of supply with manufacturing needs.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.
• Utilize ERP systems and supply chain planning tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
