Sustainability Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sustainability Manager to lead our efforts in developing and implementing robust sustainability strategies within our packaging and containers business. The ideal candidate will drive initiatives to reduce environmental impact, enhance social responsibility, and ensure economic viability, aligning with our commitment to a circular economy and sustainable practices. This role is crucial for integrating sustainability into our core business operations and product development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sustainability strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key sustainability metrics (e.g., carbon footprint, waste reduction, water usage, energy consumption).
- Lead initiatives for material innovation, focusing on recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable packaging solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and supply chain teams to implement sustainable sourcing and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards in India and globally.
- Engage with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, government bodies, and NGOs, to promote sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) for new and existing products.
- Develop and deliver training programs on sustainability for employees.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for sustainability certifications and awards.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and policies in the sustainability and packaging sectors.
