Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator/Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of our IT systems and networks, ensuring high availability and performance. This role is critical in supporting the operational needs of our diverse business units across India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), and related software.
- Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary patches and updates.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
