System Security Engineer - Ludhiana

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented System Security Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Sc degree and a strong understanding of IT security principles and practices within the oil and gas sector. You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security measures to protect our critical IT infrastructure and data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and manage security controls and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus solutions.

Monitor security logs and alerts for suspicious activities and potential threats, conducting initial investigations.

Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and support remediation efforts.

Collaborate with IT and operational teams to ensure security is integrated into system design and deployment.

Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations, incidents, and resolutions.

Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends relevant to the oil and gas sector.
