Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Tax Analyst with an M.Com degree to join our finance team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in handling corporate taxation matters within the Indian regulatory framework. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance, optimizing tax strategies, and supporting financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns (e-TDS, advance tax calculations).
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential tax liabilities and savings opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable direct and indirect tax laws and regulations in India.
• Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors for assessments and queries.
• Support the finance department in tax planning and forecasting activities.
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and their impact on the company's operations.
