Tax Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Analyst to join our finance team. This role will be instrumental in managing our tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions as we scale. You will work closely with our accounting team and external advisors to ensure Innovatech Appliances meets all its tax obligations efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Assist in tax research and planning to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
• Support the accounting team with tax-related inquiries and reconciliations.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
• Assist with tax audits and respond to notices from tax authorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate tax or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH, Thomson Reuters) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
