Taxation Executive

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Taxation Executive with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in handling various taxation matters within the Indian context, particularly within the infrastructure, transport, or real estate sectors. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, supporting tax planning initiatives, and assisting in tax-related audits and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns (e.g., Income Tax, GST, TDS) accurately and within deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all Indian tax laws and regulations, staying updated with amendments and their implications.
- Support the tax team in conducting tax research and analysis to identify potential tax savings and risks.
- Liaise with tax authorities for assessments, inquiries, and other correspondence.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
- Participate in tax audits and provide necessary information and explanations to auditors.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather information required for tax filings and assessments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
- Support in the reconciliation of tax liabilities and payments.
