Team Leader

Role Summary: The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing a team within the Iron & Steel operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of steel manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of production/operational staff to achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets.

Monitor production processes to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and yield.

Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.

Manage team schedules, work assignments, and resource allocation.

Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team and plant.
