Technical Director

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Technical Director to lead our technology strategy and execution within our import and export operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects, driving innovation, and ensuring the seamless integration of technology to optimize supply chain efficiency, enhance customer experience, and maintain a competitive edge in the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with the company's import and export business objectives.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of IT infrastructure, software solutions, and digital platforms for trade facilitation, logistics management, and customs compliance.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of enterprise-level systems such as ERP, WMS, TMS, and CRM, with a focus on supply chain integration.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of AI, machine learning, blockchain, and IoT for enhanced visibility, predictive analytics, and process automation.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of all IT systems and data, adhering to relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, sales, and finance, to identify technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in the import/export and logistics sectors, and assess their potential applicability.
