Test Analyst (2-3 Yrs) at TCS

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Test Analyst with 2-3 years of experience and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree to join our dynamic team in Nagpur. As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies. You will collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to apply advanced technical knowledge gained from your M.Tech education.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and technical specifications.

Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing, to identify defects and ensure software quality.

Analyze test results, document defects with detailed steps for replication, and track them through to resolution using defect tracking tools.

Collaborate closely with software developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand product features and resolve issues promptly.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, leveraging your M.Tech knowledge for innovative solutions.

Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and potential risks.

Prepare test summary reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.
