Third Officer / Mate

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Third Officer / Mate to join our manufacturing operations team. The Third Officer / Mate will be responsible for assisting the senior officers in the day-to-day management of vessel operations, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining operational efficiency within our leather processing and manufacturing facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime principles applied to industrial settings and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the supervision of deck and engine room operations relevant to material handling and internal logistics.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, including emergency preparedness.
• Participate in the maintenance and inspection of equipment and machinery.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely production.
• Prepare reports on operational activities, safety incidents, and inventory levels.
• Support senior officers in planning and executing operational tasks.
