The Third Officer / Mate will work under the supervision of senior officers, assisting in navigation, cargo operations, and vessel management. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe and efficient navigation of the vessel as directed by the Master or Officer of the Watch.
- Participate in cargo operations, including loading, discharging, and monitoring of oil and gas products.
- Maintain vessel logs, records, and documentation accurately.
- Conduct routine inspections of vessel equipment and safety systems.
- Support in maintaining the vessel's general upkeep and cleanliness.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and international maritime conventions.
- Participate in emergency drills and respond effectively to any incidents.
- Learn and apply best practices in maritime operations and safety management.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and operational plans.
