Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thoracic Surgeon to join our dedicated medical team. The Thoracic Surgeon will be responsible for the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and post-operative care of patients with diseases affecting the chest, including the lungs, esophagus, diaphragm, and mediastinum. This role is crucial in providing advanced surgical interventions within our public health framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex thoracic surgeries, including lung resections (lobectomy, pneumonectomy), esophageal surgery, and mediastinal mass removal.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of thoracic conditions, utilizing advanced diagnostic imaging and procedures.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pulmonologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in thoracic surgery techniques and technologies.
- Participate in medical education and training for junior doctors and medical staff.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
