Thoracic Surgeon

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thoracic Surgeon to join our dedicated medical team. The Thoracic Surgeon will be responsible for the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and post-operative care of patients with diseases affecting the chest and its contents, excluding the heart and great vessels. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being of our employees and their families, providing expert medical services within our corporate healthcare framework.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of thoracic surgical procedures, including but not limited to lung resections, mediastinal mass excisions, chest wall reconstructions, and management of pleural diseases.
- Diagnose and manage thoracic conditions through comprehensive patient evaluation, including physical examination, review of medical history, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs) and pulmonary function tests.
- Provide pre-operative assessment and counseling to patients, explaining surgical options, risks, and expected outcomes.
- Conduct post-operative care, monitoring patient recovery, managing complications, and developing rehabilitation plans.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals, including oncologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in thoracic surgery, participating in continuing medical education and research activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in thoracic surgical care within the organization.
