Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our manufacturing support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing complex tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the production of advertising materials and promotional items. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of metalworking and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and fabricate custom tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize tooling for efficiency and quality.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of tooling, materials, and production processes.
