Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our engineering team at Air India Engineering Services Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in aircraft component manufacturing and repair processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of metallurgy, and proficiency in operating various machining tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, fabricate, and repair complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to blueprints and specifications.

Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines.

Perform precision grinding, fitting, and assembly of tool and die components.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications.

Conduct quality checks and ensure that fabricated tools and dies meet required tolerances and standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool and die performance.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes.
