Role Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Tool Room Manager to oversee the operations of our tool room, ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and fabrication of tools, jigs, fixtures, and other essential equipment for our animation and VFX production pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the tool room, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tools, machinery, and equipment within the tool room.
• Ensure the timely fabrication of new tools, jigs, fixtures, and prototypes according to production requirements and specifications.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, materials, and spare parts, and manage procurement as needed.
• Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and machinists, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies within the tool room.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand tool requirements and provide solutions.
• Manage budgets and control costs associated with tool room operations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in tooling technology and manufacturing techniques.
