Tool Room Manager (3-4 Yrs) - Kochi

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tool Room Manager with 3-4 years of experience to join our growing team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the tool room, ensuring the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of precision tooling required for our chemical manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of tool room equipment, processes, and quality control, along with the ability to manage a small team and optimize tool room efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the tool room, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tool room machinery and equipment.
• Ensure the timely fabrication and delivery of precision tools, dies, and molds according to specifications.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all tooling meets required standards.
• Maintain an inventory of tooling, spare parts, and raw materials, and manage procurement as needed.
• Supervise and mentor tool room technicians, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance tool room efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices within the tool room environment.
