Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Town / Urban Planner to join our Facility Management Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing urban and regional development projects, with a focus on optimizing land use, infrastructure, and community services within the context of our company's operational footprint. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance economic, social, and environmental considerations to create sustainable and efficient environments for our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic urban and regional development plans.
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments for new facility locations or expansions.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Design and plan infrastructure development, including transportation, utilities, and public spaces, to support facility operations.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders and management.
- Analyze demographic trends, economic data, and social factors to inform planning decisions.
- Oversee project implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Engage with community members and local authorities to gather input and address concerns related to development projects.
