Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Town / Urban Planner to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing urban planning strategies and projects that promote sustainable, efficient, and equitable urban development. This role involves working on diverse projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the physical and social fabric of cities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive urban and regional plans, master plans, and zoning regulations.
- Conduct research and analysis on demographic trends, land use, environmental impact, and socio-economic factors.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and policy recommendations for government agencies and clients.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, developers, and community stakeholders to integrate planning objectives into project designs.
- Assess development proposals for compliance with planning policies and regulations.
- Utilize GIS and other planning software for spatial analysis and visualization.
- Contribute to the development of sustainable urban design principles and smart city initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with national and local planning laws and environmental regulations.
