Town / Urban Planner for Diploma Graduates (2-4 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Town / Urban Planner with 2-4 years of experience and a Diploma in a relevant field to join our team in Kolkata. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of large-scale event venues and site layouts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and efficient resource utilization. This role requires a blend of technical planning skills and an understanding of spatial design within the dynamic context of live events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and preparation of site plans, layouts, and logistical plans for events, considering crowd flow, safety, and accessibility.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for potential event locations in and around Kolkata.
- Ensure all event site designs comply with local municipal laws, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including local authorities, vendors, and contractors, to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Develop traffic management and parking plans for event venues.
- Create detailed maps and drawings using CAD software to illustrate event layouts and infrastructure.
- Monitor site development and construction phases, ensuring adherence to approved plans.
- Contribute to post-event analysis, documenting lessons learned for future site planning.
