Transcriptionist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Transcriptionist to join our team. The Transcriptionist will be responsible for accurately converting audio and video recordings into written text. This role requires excellent listening skills, a strong command of English, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that important information from various sources is accurately documented for our internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Listen to audio and video recordings of meetings, interviews, and other content.

Accurately transcribe spoken words into written text using transcription software and tools.

Identify and correctly spell technical terms, jargon, and names.

Proofread and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and completeness.

Ensure timely delivery of completed transcriptions according to specified deadlines.

Maintain confidentiality of all transcribed materials.

Adhere to company transcription guidelines and formatting standards.
