Job Description

Role Summary: HDFC Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transplant Surgeon to join our dedicated medical team. This role is crucial for providing specialized medical care and advisory services to our employees and their dependents, ensuring access to world-class healthcare solutions. The Transplant Surgeon will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients requiring organ transplantation, as well as providing pre- and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnostic tests to determine eligibility for organ transplantation.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for transplant candidates and recipients.

Conduct complex surgical procedures for organ transplantation, adhering to the highest standards of medical practice.

Provide expert pre-operative and post-operative care, including managing complications and ensuring optimal patient recovery.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nephrologists, hepatologists, immunologists, and nurses.

Educate patients and their families about transplant procedures, risks, and post-transplant management.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in transplant surgery, medical technology, and patient care protocols.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
