Transport Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Transport Manager to oversee and optimize all transportation and logistics operations for our diverse real estate projects and corporate facilities across India. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe movement of goods, materials, and personnel, supporting the seamless execution of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive transport strategies and policies.
- Oversee the daily operations of the transport fleet, including scheduling, routing, and dispatch.
- Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintenance schedules.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party logistics providers and vendors.
- Monitor and control transportation costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and goods to various project sites and offices.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for drivers and vehicles.
- Manage a team of drivers and logistics staff, providing training and performance management.
- Utilize transport management software and other technologies to track shipments, optimize routes, and manage inventory.
- Liaise with internal departments (procurement, construction, facilities management) to understand and meet their transport needs.
- Analyze transport data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian transportation laws and regulations.
