Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing transportation systems and solutions that leverage cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability. This role requires a strong understanding of transportation principles, data analysis, and project management, with a focus on applying technological advancements to real-world transportation challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct traffic studies, data collection, and analysis to identify transportation issues and opportunities.
- Develop and design transportation infrastructure projects, including road networks, public transit systems, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
- Utilize transportation modeling and simulation software to evaluate design alternatives and predict performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including urban planners, software developers, and project managers, to integrate technology solutions into transportation projects.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant transportation standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in transportation engineering and urban mobility.
