Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Transportation Engineer with a LLB degree and 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Nasik. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of railway transportation systems, legal frameworks, and contract management within the Indian context. This role involves contributing to the planning, design, and execution of railway infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on compliance and legal aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess existing railway transportation infrastructure and propose improvements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and contribute to the conceptualization of new railway projects, considering legal and regulatory requirements.
- Review and interpret railway-related laws, regulations, and policies impacting project development and execution.
- Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to railway projects.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal statutes, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with legal teams, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve contractual disputes and mitigate legal risks.
- Prepare technical reports and legal memos for senior management and relevant authorities.
- Monitor project progress from a legal and contractual standpoint.
- Liaise with government bodies and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
