Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and organized Travel Agent / Consultant with a Doctorate/PhD to join our Jaipur office. This unique role leverages advanced research and problem-solving skills to manage complex travel arrangements for our executives and project teams within the Metals & Mining sector. You will be responsible for optimizing travel logistics, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and providing exceptional service, requiring a strategic approach often found in academic research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive travel strategies, considering budgets, timelines, and specific project requirements.
- Conduct in-depth research on travel options, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation, to identify the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Manage booking processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and visa regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve travel-related issues, providing timely support to travelers.
- Analyze travel data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
- Liaise with external travel agencies and vendors to negotiate favorable rates and terms.
- Prepare detailed travel itineraries and reports for senior management.
- Stay updated on global travel trends, geopolitical events, and industry best practices relevant to corporate travel.
